Description

Within the warehouse, it is the Controller’s responsibility to deliver management reports to the warehouse manager for monitoring and controlling the warehouse performance and making decisions. Management reporting has to be conducted in line with the applicable HEINEKEN Rules, Standards and Procedures.

The warehouse controller is responsible for gathering and interpreting data to identify improvement areas and monitor the progress of improvement projects. Within the daily job, the warehouse controller collaborates with internal stakeholders from financial control and IT amongst others.

Accountabilities

Safety

Key Activities

  • Act in accordance with the safety regulations. Report accidents, incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions and behaviors. Stimulate an open environment where safety is put first, by sharing safety concerns, acting as an example and addressing each other on safety.

Results

  • Safety is put first, there is a good safety culture and safety targets are met.

Warehouse planning

Key Activities

  • Analyze space utilization and FLT saturation. Perform ABC analysis and review regularly to align with changing circumstances (stock policy, production batch sizes, etc.).
  • Weekly/monthly/yearly productions planning
  • Lead weekly micro plan
  •  Manage IC(intercompany) transfer  with low cost  liaison agent to OpCo planning

Results

  • Cost efficient warehouse performance and right resource productivity

Warehouse process execution management

Key Activities

  • Analyze trends and interpret data over longer periods of time and suggest improvements.
  • Lead Consumption Analysis for packaging material, Raw materials and propose optimizations.
  •  Manage warehouse space in efficient way

Results

  • Better warehouse process execution management.

Goods movement

Key Activities

  • Analyze trends and interpret data over longer periods of time and suggest improvements.
  •  Set up efficient truck utilization system

Results

  • Better goods movements.

Inventory management

Key Activities

  • Analyse inventory discrepancies, perform root cause analysis and suggests actions. Focus areas are stock differences, losses & breakages, number of internal movements, (re)packing and value added services. (Out of stock situations are the scope of planning).

Results

  • Better stock accuracy.

Storage & stock quality assurance/ management

Key Activities

  • Monitor stock freshness and suggest promotions for nearly expired product. Performs loss deployment/5 why/root cause analysis on stock quality issues.

Results

  • Low level of obsolesces and write-offs.

RPM handling

Key Activities

  • Administrate RPM and register site-loss within logistics, make a deployment, suggest improvements.

Results

  • Correct data on RPM.

Assets & equipment management

Key Activities

  • Monitor and analyse asset and equipment usage and suggest improvements.

Results

  • Reduced maintenance cost of assets and equipment.

TPM & Continuous Improvement

Key Activities

  • Make deployments of warehouse activities and suggest improvements in safety, warehousing processes, assets, stock quality and/or inventory management.
  •  Monitor correct data gathering for DCS.

Results

  • Reliable and accurate data to support TPM in the warehouse.

TPM & Continuous Improvement

  • Make deployments of warehouse activities and suggest improvements in safety, warehousing processes, assets, stock quality and/or inventory management.

Management reporting

Key Activities

  • Produce timely and accurate data to prepare reports on warehousing performance. Report KPIs via right platforms.
  • Contribute to the definition of new warehousing performance indicators and set up the related reporting system(s).
  • Alert on performance deviations of indicators out of control and perform root cause analysis.
  • Use the indicators trend to propose improvements projects.
  •  Report inventory to BM, Warehouse manager, finance manager, OpCo planning teams & Finance department.

Results

  • Management reporting is used to control warehouse performance, guide decision making and point out improvement opportunities.

Organization & People

Key Activities

  • Provide warehouse manager reports to monitor sick leave and absenteeism, FTE management (permanent & temporary).

Results

  • Right organizational performance and balance own and outsourced FTE.

Job Requirements

Knowledge and Experience 

WORKING AND THINKING LEVEL- Bachelor in Business

EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years in business, preferably logistics.

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE

  • Microsoft Office: Excel
  • SAP ECC or other ERP system. WMS if applicable.
  • English; local language.

OTHER KNOWLEDGE

  •  Financial understanding
